SALESmanago acquires Leadoo to expand European presence

Today

SALESmanago has announced the acquisition of the lead conversion platform Leadoo as part of its mission to become Europe's leading Customer Engagement Platform (CEP).

SALESmanago, a Krakow-headquartered SaaS marketing technology provider, currently services over 2,000 customers and has made this strategic purchase to enhance its presence across Europe. Leadoo, based in Helsinki, has a customer base of over 1,000 and is known for its expertise in converting website visitors into buyers.

The newly formed partnership aims to bolster SALESmanago's influence in Northern Europe and the UK - regions where Leadoo has a strong footing - while reinforcing its existing reach in Central, Eastern, and Southern Europe. This move supports SALESmanago's objective of becoming Europe's number one marketing technology platform for the mid-market segment.

Brian Plackis-Cheng, CEO at SALESmanago, stated: "This strategic move consolidates Europe's marketing automation sector with a formidable combination of Leadoo's leading web conversion platform and SALESmanago's Customer Engagement Platform. It accelerates our mission to provide a comprehensive, yet simple, mid-market CEP, and is a significant step on our journey to becoming Europe's number one mid-market platform."

Fredrik Rönnlund, CEO of Leadoo, expressed optimism about the merger, saying: "Joining forces with SALESmanago represents an exceptional opportunity for both companies to grow and better serve our shared customer base. We are confident that this merger will help both companies' current and future customers drive more results from their marketing efforts."

The acquisition is also seen as advantageous by SALESmanago's investors. John Messamore, Partner from SilverTree Equity, commented: "The combination of SALESmanago and Leadoo brings together two market-leading GenAI-enabled platforms, unlocks bundling and cross-selling opportunities for both businesses, and offers customers and the market a more compelling platform to support digital commerce."

Ravi Sharma, Partner from Perwyn, endorsed this ambition, stating: "This investment underscores our confidence in the SALESmanago ambition to become Europe's leading CEP and represents the first of other strategic alliances planned over the coming months."

The acquisition seeks to combine the strengths of both companies. By integrating Leadoo's conversion tools and SALESmanago's customer engagement expertise, the joint platform will focus on enhancing customer acquisition and retention for eCommerce clients.

Current users of SALESmanago's platform, such as renowned brands Victoria's Secret, iSpot, Orbico, Horta, Komputronik, and 4F, already benefit from its ROI and Time To Value services. These companies are expected to gain further advantages from the expanded capabilities resulting from the merger with Leadoo.
