RKVST appoints Blockchain & Global Security Expert as Vice President

Dr. Cindy Vestergaard, a blockchain and global security expert, has been appointed as the Vice President of Special Projects and External Relations at RKVST, the leader in trustworthy digital archives and supply chain integrity, transparency, and trust. Cindy's expertise in the nuclear sector, including tracking nuclear material across the nuclear fuel cycle and reconciling dual-use chemicals, will be beneficial to RKVST's expansion with commercial businesses and government agencies.

In her new role, Cindy will be working closely with customers and partners to develop blockchain-powered data integrity, transparency, and trust into existing supply chains that utilise the RKVST platform. The platform is available to all businesses, starting with a free forever service that easily connects with existing data archives, whether they are on-premises or in the cloud. Partners and customers can instantly verify assets and data, ensuring that they are safe to use and fit for purpose.

Dr. Cindy Vestergaard is a non-resident fellow with the Nuclear Safeguards and Blockchain in Practice Programs at the Stimson Center, where she previously served as director and senior fellow. She worked as a senior researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS) and held several positions at Canada's foreign ministry, including senior policy advisor. Cindy holds a BA in International Relations from the University of British Columbia, an MA in International Relations and European Studies from Central European University, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.

Cindy expressed her excitement about joining the RKVST team and her commitment to empowering organizations to achieve real value from their digital archives.
