Infobip, Haas F1 partner to boost fan engagement with AI tech

Today

Infobip has entered into a multi-year partnership with the MoneyGram Haas Formula 1 Team to enhance digital fan engagement through advanced messaging technology.

The collaboration aims to transform how Formula 1 supporters communicate with the team and its drivers by providing a more interactive and personalised experience. Infobip, a cloud communications company headquartered in London, will deliver its expertise across channels such as Rich Communication Services (RCS), WhatsApp, and in-app messaging, supported by agentic artificial intelligence.

Through this partnership, fans will have the opportunity to interact with the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team in real time, including features like conversational AI on WhatsApp and other messaging platforms, allowing them to learn more about their favourite drivers and receive direct answers to their questions.

Infobip's technology is being positioned as a means to deepen connections between the team and its followers around the world. According to the companies, the use of rich messaging channels, particularly RCS, is gaining popularity in regions such as the UK and North America, as well as globally, due to their ability to offer more interactive engagements across various touchpoints from marketing to customer support.

The partnership commenced at the Miami Grand Prix, where the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team participated in the sixth round of the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship at the Miami International Autodrome.

Infobip, which is described as Croatia's first unicorn with revenue exceeding EUR €1.8 billion in 2024, also serves high-profile technology clients including Google and Uber, enabling them to leverage multiple communication channels to reach customers. The company has an active presence in the automotive industry, working with manufacturers such as Toyota, Nissan, and Mahindra to enhance the customer experience during the purchasing process using artificial intelligence.

The MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, which operates from Kannapolis, North Carolina and has a factory in Banbury, England, is currently ranked sixth overall in the Constructors' Championship. The collaboration with Infobip is part of the team's strategy to grow its global fanbase and deliver value both on and off the racetrack.

"As an engineering firm at heart, Infobip understands what it takes to continue to innovate and deliver results week in, week out. Infobip has grown quickly and has become a global leader. Such drive is something we appreciate, given our ambitions as a team with a growing global fanbase," Ayao Komatsu, Team Principal at the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, commented on the new partnership.

"From Austin to Miami, Infobip helps brands stay in pole position by providing rich conversational experiences that enhance customer loyalty and drive growth. Our data shows that RCS traffic has grown exponentially over the last two years globally, and the channel has the potential to be transformational for customers. By supporting the team in using such channels and providing richer and more interactive experiences, we will help bring fans closer to the action," Ivan Ostojić, Chief Business Officer at Infobip, said.

The MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, founded by Gene Haas, is noted as the only American Formula 1 team, with additional operations in Banbury and Maranello, Italy. It maintains technical partnerships with Scuderia Ferrari and Toyota GAZOO Racing and continues to participate actively in both Formula 1 and NASCAR through its various teams and operations.
