Mentor Group launches new sales training platform INSTIL

Yesterday

Sales training company Mentor Group has announced the launch of INSTIL, their new sales training platform.

INSTIL is described as a scalable, end-to-end platform that incorporates Mentor Group's established sales training curriculum, known as LEARN, with modern digital tools designed for practice, denoted as PRACTICE. The company asserts that this combination will support sellers across various abilities, ages, and levels of experience in improving their sales performance, thus contributing to consistent revenue growth.

The platform uses a variety of sales training modules, role-playing exercises, and virtual reality simulation tools. These are offered in collaboration with partners such as the cloud-based learning platform AliveSim, AI-powered role-play training software PitchMonster, and chatbots from Digital Experts.

INSTIL also includes features aimed at providing sales team leaders with critical analytics to assess team performance, as well as pinpointing areas that may benefit from further training and development.

Matt Webb, Chief Executive Officer at Mentor Group, commented on the retention of knowledge, highlighting that "We know that as much as 80% of knowledge is lost within two weeks if it is not reinforced. Today's sellers need more than just training, they need to combine critical learning sales skills with the ability to practice those skills in market relevant, repeatable environments."

He further elaborated, "This ensures the knowledge translates into real, profitable skills, without the risk of practicing in front of customers. INSTIL arms sellers with the right tools to succeed. With the solution, we can equip today's sales professionals with the skills to set the foundations for consistent, tangible revenue growth and performance."
