Tangram expands operations with new hires in UK & Singapore
Tangram, an industry expert in agency operations, has announced two new hires, expanding its operations across Asia Pacific and Europe. Formerly with Ogilvy, new recruit Sai Chiu will lead the operation from the newly launched UK office, while data and digitisation integrations specialist Jun Hao Woo will be based in the Singapore team.
Tangram currently runs operations within Asia Pacific, the Nordics and Europe. With its primary aim of streamlining processes, managing finances, and maximising efficiency, the firm provides consulting and tech solutions exclusively to the advertising agency sector. The firm's clientele includes advertising giants such as Dentsu, Ogilvy, DDBO, TBWA, The North Alliance and George P Johnson.
Helen Johnson, Tangram's Australia-based managing director and partner, expressed her enthusiasm for the new chapter ahead. "I am so thrilled about the exciting chapter ahead for Tangram with the addition of Jun Hao in Singapore and Sai in the UK. This not only expands our global presence across APAC and EMEA, but also opens doors to a wealth of diverse insights and experience they both bring," she said.
Johnson further elaborated on the company's growth trajectory. As Tangram approaches its 10-year anniversary, she emphasised the firm's commitment to growth, not just geographically, but in terms of the impact they have on agencies. "We're not just expanding geographically; we're expanding our impact, helping agencies become more efficient, and laying down frameworks for their sustained success," stated Johnson.
Sai Chiu, who will be leading the UK arm of the business, expressed his excitement about joining the team. "I'm thrilled to be joining the Tangram team and can't wait to get building the UK arm of the business and establishing ourselves in EMEA. I'm particularly excited about collaborating with some of the best and brightest agencies here in London and look forward to working together," he said.
Tangram has made significant transformations in high-profile agencies. It has previously implemented a new ERP system for Ogilvy as part of a significant business transformation program, aligned the GPJ way of working with their existing ERP system, and built and implemented a staff onboarding and training solutions for the expanding business of Traffic.
The new hire in Singapore, Jun Hao Woo, is eager to leverage his rich experience to contribute to world-class agencies' processes. "Being part of the diverse Tangram team, alongside clients like Dentsu, GPJ and NoA, is incredibly exciting for me. I'm excited to collaborate closely with clients, especially our Chinese-speaking partners, leveraging my experience in business insights and analytics. My goal is to bridge gaps and contribute to building the processes of some of the world's biggest and best agencies," remarked Jun Hao Woo.
