Aleph Group expands global reach with Entravision acquisition
Aleph Group has announced the completion of its acquisition of Entravision Global Partners, the digital commercial partnership business unit of Entravision Communications Corporation. This acquisition is set to significantly expand Aleph's global reach, reinforcing its role as a central access point for global digital media platforms aiming to connect with audiences across Latin America, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
Through this strategic move, Aleph now operates in over 140 countries, providing support to more than 60 digital media platforms and over 26,000 advertisers, collectively reaching an audience of 3 billion consumers. Key benefits of this acquisition include bolstering its presence in 29 markets and extending Aleph's operational relationships with major digital platforms such as TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Spotify, Pinterest, Criteo, and Snapchat, among others.
Gaston Taratuta, CEO and Founder of Aleph Group, commented on the acquisition, "The acquisition of Entravision's digital business marks an important milestone for Aleph. We have great respect for what they built as a worthy competitor. With their deep roots in key Central America and APAC markets, this acquisition perfectly complements our existing global network. Aleph is now the only and undisputed global leader in enabling digital marketing in emerging economies."
This acquisition strengthened Latin America's markets, covering countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Chile, among others. In the Asia-Pacific region, Aleph has increased its presence in India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mongolia.
Taratuta further emphasised, "As Aleph approaches its 20th anniversary in 2025, we are building a generational business, and we look forward to continued growth and success. The shift from offline to online GDP is accelerating, and we are committed to driving digital communication, payments, and education in these markets."
Aleph Group maintains a core mission to make the digital world more accessible, fostering economic growth and empowering communities through digital transformation. "We believe access changes the world," states the company's manifesto. The acquisition aligns with Aleph's commitment to providing a digital media education platform designed to equip professionals with essential skills, as well as promoting borderless collaboration through a global team of experts who communicate in over 60 languages.
Aleph's business model enables partners to monetise their digital advertising inventory exclusively in emerging markets. This provides local and global advertisers with a single point of access where Aleph offers education, generates revenue, and manages all cross-border payment activities, simplifying the process of advertising on global platforms.
Aleph continues to focus on economic upliftment through its proprietary technologies and localised solutions. These efforts are part of a broader initiative to support underserved markets and communities. Key partnerships with significant digital platforms and a focus on digital education through its Digital Ad Expert platform position Aleph as a major player in digital advertising and education.
