Danish agency SparkForce expands into UK with bold goals

Today

Marketing agency SparkForce has announced its expansion into the UK market. It aims to apply its revenue-first marketing approach to British businesses.

Originally founded in Denmark, SparkForce has decided to bring its operations to the UK to generate GBP £2.5 million in revenue by 2025. The company's CEO, Casper Rouchmann, and new UK Growth Lead, Matt Laybourn, intend to challenge the current state of marketing in UK SaaS businesses.

Rouchmann articulated the agency's emphasis on "increased accountability in marketing," stressing that the traditional "growth-at-all-cost" approach is outdated. He added, "The era of growth-at-all-cost is over. Marketing needs to be accountable, while still being a revenue driver, which hasn't been the case for many B2B SaaS companies for a long time. We're here to change that!"

Under the initiative spearheaded by Matt Laybourn, SparkForce plans to establish its first UK branch. Laybourn, who has a decade of experience in agency and SaaS strategies, aims to employ a marketing strategy that acts as a catalyst for business growth rather than a mere expense.

He noted, "SparkForce is leading the charge in revenue-focused marketing, empowering SaaS marketers to become true growth drivers. Marketing isn't just a cost—it's the investment that fuels business growth. In a complex, ever-changing marketplace, SaaS companies need expert guidance to not only accelerate growth but also prove their impact on the bottom line. That's exactly what we're bringing to the UK: a new standard for SaaS marketing – and one that delivers real business value."

SparkForce plans to open an office in London by the first quarter of 2025 and hire eight to ten employees within the first year. During this time, the company also aims to attract several UK-based clients.

Despite Momentum in digital transformation across various industries, Rouchmann believes that the connection between marketing efforts and tangible business results remains inadequately developed. He sees this as both a challenge and an opportunity for SparkForce as they enter the UK market.

SparkForce, headquartered in Copenhagen, employs over 25 professionals in Denmark and the UK. The company's operations are channel-agnostic, focusing on tailored digital marketing strategies to meet each client's unique needs.
