Wed, 24th Jul 2024

Sparteo, an adtech platform for publishers, has appointed Rachel Saada to the newly created role of Head of Marketing, aimed at driving growth in the UK market. This appointment aims to support the company's goal of exceeding a 50% growth rate for 2024. Rachel previously led EMEA marketing operations for Jellysmack and has experience at Taboola.

Rachel will be responsible for focusing on UK market strategies alongside France. Her role will involve enhancing Sparteo's brand visibility, driving customer engagement, and expanding market share. Commenting on her new role, Rachel stated, "This is such an exciting time to join the Sparteo team. As an adtech veteran, I've always been impressed by Sparteo's commitment to innovation, AI and data-driven solutions. We know Sparteo's customers come to us looking to drive their efficiency, engagement, and revenues, so I'm looking forward to expanding and redefining how we deliver the industry-leading solution to this core adtech challenge."

The appointment is part of a broader series of senior team changes at Sparteo. Head of Sales Pauline Alonso has relocated to lead the rapidly expanding London office, responding to increased demand from UK publishers. Sam Burdge has also joined as VP of Video Engineering at Sparteo's VIOUSLY division, having previously been Technical Director at Snack Media.

Chief Strategy Officer and co-founder Benjamin Tolman expressed his enthusiasm about Rachel's appointment, saying, "We're thrilled to welcome Rachel to the Sparteo team as we continue to expand our UK presence and innovate in the evolving adtech landscape. Rachel's experience and understanding of the UK market in particular will be essential as we enter this next significant phase of growth, leading next-gen adtech solutions for the publishing industry."

Through Sparteo's platform, clients have reportedly seen advertising revenues increase by 30% post-deployment. Notable UK clients include Nigella.com, The Race, and Kelsey Media Group. The company offers a range of solutions covering video, audio, display, CMP, and Connected TV. These services are particularly designed to help publishers regain control over their websites, audiences, and data monetisation strategies.

Sparteo's UK expansion includes multiple facets of their adtech solutions aimed at better serving their publisher clients' needs. With headquarters in Paris and additional offices in Lille, Berlin, and London, the company was co-founded in 2017 by Denis Marchant, Pierre Orlach, Thomas Pruvot, and Benjamin Tolman. The firm employs 100 people and serves both major media groups and niche entities.

Rachel's addition to the team is viewed as a strategic move to bolster Sparteo's market positioning in the UK. Her extensive background in adtech, combined with her previous leadership in marketing roles, positions her well to navigate this complex industry and contribute to the company's ambitious growth targets.
