Ad Signal appoints Nick Pearce as Chief Revenue Officer

Fri, 4th Jul 2025

Ad Signal has appointed Nick Pearce as its new Chief Revenue Officer as part of its growth plans following a recent GBP £3 million investment.

The company, which provides SaaS content intelligence for the media and entertainment sector, looks to leverage Pearce's experience to expand its business across Europe and the United States.

New leadership appointment

Pearce brings over 20 years of experience in media technology and commercial leadership to Ad Signal. His career began at AT&T Bell Labs, and he has since been involved in various aspects of software engineering, research and development, and global go-to-market strategies. Pearce has worked with customers, channel partners, and technology alliances globally, contributing to the commercialisation of new technology products.

His appointment comes after Ad Signal received a GBP £3 million funding round from Foresight Group. Pearce's responsibilities will include building out a global network of channel and technical partners, improving ecosystem integrations, and aligning sales and marketing initiatives in support of the firm's international growth.

Comments from leadership

"Nick brings a rare combination of deep technical understanding and commercial instinct, which makes him a perfect fit for where we're heading as a company. He is a great addition to our senior leadership team, helping shape not only our growth strategy but also how we position Ad Signal's long-term impact in the market. His extensive network within the media and entertainment industry, combined with his passion for purposeful, partnership-led growth, makes him a trusted voice in shaping the future of media and broadcasting, and we can't wait to see what we can achieve together," Tom Dunning, CEO and co-founder of Ad Signal, said.

Pearce previously co-founded Object Matrix, an object storage platform aimed at the media and entertainment sector. There, he assisted in growing the business from three customers in 2006 to over 115 prior to its acquisition in 2023.

Highlighting the alignment between his own values and Ad Signal's mission, Pearce stated, "Ad Signal represents exactly the kind of company I believe in. UK-based, scaling fast, and tackling meaningful, complex challenges in a completely unique way. As Chief Revenue Officer, I'm eager to support a mission that cuts storage and AI processing costs while reducing carbon emissions and driving ESG progress for customers. With such a fabulous team behind the technology, I see huge potential to expand our reach and impact."

Plans for expansion

Pearce will be focused on expanding Ad Signal's partnerships and supporting the integration of the company's technology into broader industry ecosystems. He will also oversee the sales and marketing alignment required to facilitate Ad Signal's expansion strategy for both Europe and the United States.

The GBP £3 million investment from Foresight Group is expected to play a role in supporting these aspirations, with the company placing greater emphasis on global growth following this injection of capital.

Ad Signal has indicated that it intends to channel its efforts into strengthening its partnerships across the sector, leveraging Pearce's experience and connections within the industry.
