IDX has appointed Clare Donald as Chief Production Officer. She joins the agency's Executive Leadership Team and reports to Chief Executive Officer Crispin Beale.

Donald will lead the development of production and creative work across the UK, US, Europe and India as IDX responds to rising demand for integrated communications, digital experiences and AI-enabled content.

She brings more than 30 years of experience across advertising, film, digital, design and emerging technology. At IDX, she will oversee production operations across a network serving more than 1,600 clients from offices including London, New York, Phoenix, Helsinki, Gothenburg, Geneva and Vadodara.

Before joining IDX, Donald was Chief Production Officer at Publicis Groupe UK and Chief Executive Officer of Prodigious UK. There, she led production operations across 27 agencies and oversaw a period in which the business doubled in size over four years.

Earlier in her career, she was Head of Operations at Google Creative Lab, where she worked on creative programmes. Her background also includes a decade on the board of British Arrows, including four years as Co-Chair.

Her appointment adds a senior production specialist to IDX's leadership group as agencies adapt to client demand for work spanning communications, marketing and digital channels. Her remit includes the continued development of the agency's production and creative offering across multiple markets.

Donald recently completed a humanitarian deployment in Jamaica supporting communities affected by Hurricane Melissa. She holds a Master's degree in International Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response from the University of Manchester.

Explaining her decision to join the agency, Donald said: "I'm excited to be joining IDX at such an ambitious stage in its growth.

"I was drawn to the agency's combination of strategic thinking, data and storytelling, alongside a genuine commitment to creative excellence and putting clients first."

Beale said the appointment reflects IDX's focus on strengthening production leadership as client work becomes more complex across channels and formats.

"Clare understands that exceptional production is where strategy, creativity and technology come together to create meaningful experiences that help organisations communicate with confidence," said Crispin Beale, Chief Executive Officer, IDX.

"Her experience leading large-scale production organisations will strengthen our ability to deliver outstanding work for clients around the world while continuing to scale the creative capabilities that set IDX apart."

Donald added: "I've always believed that the way ideas are brought to life is just as important as the ideas themselves.

"I'm looking forward to helping build world-class production capabilities that enable our clients to communicate with maximum impact."

The appointment comes as creative agencies continue to invest in production capabilities to meet growing demand for integrated campaigns delivered across digital, social and traditional channels.

Many firms are also expanding the use of AI-assisted tools in content creation while maintaining oversight of quality, brand consistency and regulatory compliance. As a result, production leadership has become increasingly important in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing more complex client requirements.

Donald's experience across agency, technology and creative organisations is expected to support IDX's efforts to scale its global operations while maintaining a consistent approach to delivery.

The company said her appointment forms part of its broader strategy to strengthen its international leadership team and support future growth across key markets.
