Incentifi has opened a UK beta programme and brought in Marcus Watson as an investor, giving a small group of brands early access to the platform.

The initial beta will run for three to four weeks with a limited number of participants. The employers named for the first round are Enzo Tech Group, Primis Talent and M.S Webb.

Incentifi is developing a workplace rewards model linked to employee activity and wellbeing. The beta is designed to test the product with employers and staff, gather feedback and identify changes before a wider launch.

Watson joins the business as the trial begins. He is Co-Founder and Chairman of Adoreum Partners and has invested in more than 30 media, technology, health and wellness businesses.

The move gives Incentifi fresh backing as it tries to establish itself in the employee wellbeing tools market. The sector has become increasingly crowded as employers look for ways to address engagement, retention and staff health without significantly increasing benefit costs.

Incentifi describes its model as self-funding, linking everyday habits such as steps, exercise and workouts to rewards including travel-related benefits and other forms of financial value. During the beta, participating employers will be able to assess how that approach works in a workplace setting.

Investor Backing

Watson outlined his view of the proposition in a company statement.

"Wellbeing is spoken about far more often than it's actually rewarded. Incentifi closes that gap, turning everyday healthy habits into travel and real financial value, funded by the model rather than an employer's budget. The best businesses are the ones where doing right by people and building something commercial pull in the same direction. Incentifi does both. I am delighted to be backing the team," said Marcus Watson, Co-Founder and Chairman, Adoreum Partners.

His investment comes as Incentifi moves from early development into live testing with customers. The programme is also part of a wider effort to fill the remaining founding member places for businesses that want to join the platform at an early stage.

Founding members are being offered preferential pricing, early access to product updates, direct contact with the product team and regular feedback sessions. The arrangement suggests Incentifi is shaping its offering in close consultation with early corporate users before a broader rollout.

Beta Focus

For participating employers, the central test will be whether staff engagement with rewards tied to movement and healthier routines can translate into sustained use. In this segment, early uptake and regular participation often determine whether an employer keeps the service after a pilot period ends.

Businesses have spent heavily in recent years on wellbeing services ranging from mental health support to fitness subsidies and flexible benefits. Many providers argue that a more direct link between employee actions and tangible rewards can improve participation, though employers also want evidence that such programmes deliver measurable value.

Incentifi says its system aims to connect individual wellbeing with commercial outcomes for employers and partners. That places it among workplace technology groups trying to show that health-related benefits can do more than support staff morale.

Paul Kelbie, one of the company's Co-Founders, said the new investment was significant as the beta phase begins.

"We're really pleased to have Marcus come on board at such an important stage for Incentifi. His track record of building and investing in successful businesses across technology, health and wellness makes his backing particularly meaningful. His investment is a real vote of confidence in the business and the opportunity ahead as we move into the beta phase," said Paul Kelbie, Co-Founder, Incentifi.
