Ryft partners with easyFood to streamline restaurant onboarding process
Mon, 30th Oct 2023

UK-based payment provider, Ryft, is entering a new partnership with easyFood, part of the easyGroup. The primary aim of this collaboration is to streamline the process of onboarding restaurants, consequently enabling new franchise partners to join the system faster than previously possible.

easyFood, a pioneer in the food delivery industry headed by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, partnered with Ryft to simplify the sign-up process it offers to new franchise partners. With Ryft's assistance, the process of onboarding restaurants onto the easyFood platform has been expedited. As a result of this collaboration, a hike in easyFood operators is expected in the coming months.

Fulfilling the role of more than just a payment platform, Ryft is also aiding easyFood in handling its regulatory compliance obligations. By providing easyFood with usage of its regulatory licences, Ryft enables easyFood to scale up its operations, thus freeing up the focus for its disruption in the hospitality sector.

Furthermore, Ryft played an instrumental role in establishing a high-converting payment flow for easyFood's end-users, resulting in a 7% increase in checkout conversions since its implementation. Both Ryft and easyFood carry a shared ethos aimed at reducing exorbitant fees and providing flat rates to their users. The collaboration between the two is seen to be a highly promising development in the hospitality industry.

Ryft co-founder and CEO Sadra Hosseini expressed his optimism about the partnership, stating, 'Ryft is allowing easyFood to usher in a new era of cost-effective and fair food delivery for restaurants and takeaways, without worrying about the regulatory burdens.' According to him, the partnership allows easyFood to onboard new partners seamlessly, while facilitating them to retain more value from their orders, in comparison to their competitors.

Charanjit S. Purewal, easyFood's COO, shared his excitement about the deal, stating, 'We have meticulously crafted our solution to be near perfection for the hospitality sector while offering a smooth and cost-effective experience for our valued customers.'
