Saviynt has appointed Kevin Spurway as its new Chief Marketing Officer.
Spurway joins Saviynt from Feedzai, an AI-native fraud and financial crime prevention platform, and brings more than 20 years of senior-level marketing experience in enterprise SaaS and software, including CMO roles in private, pre-IPO, and publicly traded US companies.
The announcement was made by Paul Zolfaghari, President at Saviynt, who highlighted Spurway's relevant experience and approach to marketing leadership.
"We are pleased to welcome Kevin to the executive team to build upon the marketing foundation we have in place at Saviynt and to help us extend our leadership position in identity security. Having worked with Kevin previously, I can attest to his marketing acumen, empathetic leadership style, strong work ethic, focus on pipeline generation and data-driven decision makingy," said Paul Zolfaghari.
Prior to his tenure at Feedzai, Spurway served as Chief Marketing Officer at Similarweb, a SaaS market intelligence company. At Similarweb, he joined before the company's initial public offering and played a part in leading the company into the US public markets in 2021. Spurway also held the position of CMO at Appian, a low-code application development and process automation company. During his six years at Appian, he supported sustained growth and contributed to the company's 2017 IPO, which was recognised as a top-performing software IPO of that year.
Earlier in his career, Spurway held senior marketing and corporate development positions at PTC and MicroStrategy. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
Commenting on his new role, Kevin Spurway expressed enthusiasm for the company's prospects. In his own words:
"I'm excited to join Saviynt, a high-growth company with strong AI-based technology and business performance at scale. Saviynt has the opportunity and resources to do great things that create impact for its customers, and I have been particularly impressed by the people at Saviynt and inspired by their talent and energy. I'm looking forward to working with the team to help accelerate adoption of this critical technology, which is a key enabler for businesses looking to securely manage all identities, including surging numbers of AI agents," Spurway said.
Saviynt's AI-powered identity platform is designed to manage and govern access by both human and non-human entities to applications, data, and business processes across organisations. The company's stated focus is on digital asset protection, supporting operational efficiency, and reducing compliance costs. Its solutions are used across various sectors, including Fortune 500 companies and government institutions, as organisations increase adoption of AI and look to secure a growing number of digital identities, including those used by artificial intelligence agents.
With increased industry attention on identity and access management – especially where artificial intelligence is concerned – companies like Saviynt continue to expand their leadership teams. Spurway's appointment as Chief Marketing Officer is intended to support the company's continuing efforts in product adoption and customer engagement as it provides identity security solutions within an evolving technology landscape.
