Humain and Qualcomm launch the Horizon Ultra AI PC

HUMAIN and Qualcomm have launched the Horizon Ultra AI PC, while Adobe will move regional AI workloads onto HUMAIN's compute infrastructure. The announcements extend the partnership from employee devices to locally hosted data centre systems in Saudi Arabia.

Horizon Ultra is HUMAIN's new flagship AI PC, built on Qualcomm's Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. It combines an 18-core Qualcomm Oryon CPU with Adreno graphics and a Hexagon neural processing unit to run AI tasks on the device, while keeping cloud access for workloads that need more computing power.

The first version will run Microsoft Windows and will be available for enterprise purchase from 20 September 2026. A later version, due in 2027, will introduce HUMAIN OS.

AlFalak will serve as the sales and delivery partner, supporting enterprise purchasing and fulfilment.

Device strategy

The launch puts HUMAIN into the growing market for AI-focused business PCs designed to handle some processing locally rather than entirely in the cloud. That can appeal to organisations with latency, connectivity, privacy, or data-handling requirements.

Qualcomm has been expanding beyond smartphones into PCs and AI-related infrastructure. For HUMAIN, the device broadens a strategy that also includes data centres, cloud systems, models, and applications.

"AI is rapidly emerging as the new interface for computing," said Wassim Chourbaji, Senior Vice President and President, Qualcomm Europe, Middle East and Africa, Qualcomm France. "As devices become increasingly capable of understanding user intent, we are entering an era of intelligent agents. In collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, HUMAIN has created Horizon Ultra, a platform for this next generation of computing. Powered by Snapdragon X2 Elite with an 18-core CPU, it seamlessly integrates advanced computing performance and on-device AI processing to deliver smarter workflows and more intuitive user experiences."

HUMAIN Chief Executive Officer Tareq Amin described the product as part of a broader shift in personal computing.

"The PC is becoming an intelligence platform," said Amin. "For the past 12 months, HUMAIN and Qualcomm Technologies have been designing for that future by bringing CPU, GPU, and NPU together so increasingly powerful AI can run directly on the device. Today at LEAP, we are showing what that future looks like. We begin by capitalising on our partnership with Microsoft, and in 2027 we take the next step with HUMAIN OS. We are making intelligence native to the device, not simply something the device connects to."

Adobe move

Separately, Adobe is set to become the first global software company to migrate AI workloads onto HUMAIN's AI Compute infrastructure, using Qualcomm Dragonfly AI accelerators in the deployment. The workloads involved are Adobe's regional AI data-captioning operations in Saudi Arabia.

The arrangement will keep both compute and data in the country. That reflects rising interest in sovereign, or locally hosted, AI infrastructure among governments and large companies seeking tighter control over where data is processed.

The move also gives HUMAIN an early reference customer as it tries to attract more enterprise AI workloads to its platform. Adobe's deployment is presented as an initial commercial use case for infrastructure HUMAIN has been building out in the Kingdom.

Chourbaji described the deployment as an early sign of demand for the platform.

"Adobe's decision to move its regional AI workloads onto HUMAIN's platform is a strong signal of confidence in the infrastructure we're helping to build in Saudi Arabia," said Wassim Chourbaji, Senior Vice President and President, Qualcomm Europe, Middle East and Africa, Qualcomm France S.A.R.L. "Our AI data centre inferencing capabilities are built for enterprise-scale deployment, and seeing that translate into real-world adoption this early reinforces Qualcomm's AI infrastructure strategy and the central role the region is playing."

Amin linked the Adobe deployment to HUMAIN's broader effort to tie infrastructure more closely to business software.

"Building AI infrastructure is only the starting point. What matters is what enterprises can do with it," said Amin. "Adobe bringing AI workloads onto HUMAIN's platform demonstrates the model we are building: advanced infrastructure connected directly to the applications and intelligence enterprises use every day. Together with Adobe and Qualcomm, we are turning compute into capability, and capability into real-world deployment. That is how AI moves from infrastructure to impact."

Adobe framed the arrangement as part of a broader effort to develop AI services in the Saudi market using local infrastructure.
