Hypetap appoints new leaders to drive influencer growth in UK

Thu, 2nd Oct 2025

Hypetap has announced two senior appointments to lead its expansion in the United Kingdom as it grows its European operations.

The agency, founded in Melbourne in 2013, has established a reputation for data-driven influencer marketing and works with brands such as Coca-Cola, Kraft Heinz, Colgate-Palmolive, Asahi and Tripadvisor. In 2024, Hypetap expanded its presence into the UK by setting up a London-based agency, aiming to serve both national and regional clients alongside its global portfolio.

As part of its continued growth strategy in the EMEA region, Hypetap has introduced two newly-created leadership roles. Chris Davis joins as Managing Director and Albertine Brandon as Account Director.

Leadership additions

Chris Davis arrives at Hypetap following over 15 years of experience in media, marketing, and influencer partnerships across markets in the UK, US, and Europe. His most recent role was as Commercial Director at GloMotion Studios, a creator-led content and production company. In addition to this, Davis has held senior positions at Brainlabs, Gleam Futures (part of Dentsu), and the MailOnline in New York.

In his new role, Davis will have responsibility for leading UK operations, with a particular focus on team culture, staff wellbeing, and collaboration. He will also be tasked with strengthening existing client partnerships and helping expand Hypetap's presence in the UK market. Davis will sit on the agency's Global Executive Leadership team, contributing to the development and implementation of the international strategy.

Hypetap has already built a brilliant foundation globally, and I'm excited to help unlock that potential here in the UK. Our proprietary tech and focus on measurement set us apart in the market, giving brands a clearer, more intelligent way to approach influencer marketing.

Albertine Brandon joins as Account Director with nearly ten years of experience in influencer and creator marketing. Her previous roles include senior positions at Dentsu Creative, Influencer, RX Global, bCreatorTM, and Blogosphere, where she developed and managed client relationships in the influencer marketing and content sectors.

At Hypetap, Brandon will oversee relationships with UK clients such as Lee Kum Kee, Depop, Tripadvisor, and independent agency partners. She will be responsible for delivering successful campaigns and supporting Hypetap's continued growth. Additionally, Brandon will mentor the account management team with an emphasis on client satisfaction and the development of long-term partnerships in the UK market.

Platform and strategy

The appointments follow the launch of Hypetap Intelligence, the agency's proprietary technology platform. Hypetap Intelligence is designed to analyse more than 10 billion data points, providing clients with audience insights, campaign measurement, competitor benchmarking, and visibility into brand lift. The platform supports the agency's approach of providing clients with measurable outcomes from influencer marketing work.

Both Davis and Brandon will report to Hypetap Chief Executive Officer, Detch Singh. Singh highlighted the importance of the new hires in delivering on the agency's objectives in the region.

I'm thrilled to welcome both Chris and Albertine to the team during a pivotal period of growth for Hypetap in the UK. Their combined expertise and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to expand our footprint and deliver exceptional results for our clients.

By appointing experienced leaders for its UK operations, Hypetap aims to build on its current work with global and regional brands and drive further market growth throughout the UK and Europe.
