VerifyMy appoints Emma Robert-Tissot as first Head of Marketing

VerifyMy, an online safety technology leader, has announced that Emma Robert-Tissot has joined the company as its first ever Head of Marketing. Robert-Tissot, a former Product Marketing Lead at the international online research data and analytics firm, YouGov, is tasked with leading the marketing strategy to boost international growth, while simultaneously advancing the company’s mission to create a safer internet espacially for children.

VerifyMy provides trustworthy solutions for online platforms keen to guard their reputation and protect their users. The company excels in ensuring the removal of illegal, harmful, and age-inappropriate content from the web. This is achieved through a series of measures — privacy-preserving age assurance, identity verification, and content moderation.

VerifyMy offers two main solutions - VerifyMyAge and VerifyMyContent. VerifyMyAge is a privacy-preserving age assurance solution for any online service, product, or business. When integrated, it provides a robust age verification system with high pass rates, optimum business continuity through minimal disruption and the ability to leverage just an email address to accurately ascertain a user's age.

VerifyMyContent serves as a comprehensive solution for identity verification, content moderation, and consent management. It is specifically designed for the prevention of the publication of illegal content on user-generated content platforms, thus delivering a trusted and compliant online experience for everyone.

In addition to developing and effecting the company's growth strategy, Robert-Tissot's role will also involve working closely with new and existing partners across a diverse range of sectors. These include social media, video sharing and online video gaming platforms, adult entertainment, and e-commerce sites dealing in alcohol, tobacco or adult content.

Robert-Tissot’s background involves extensive marketing experience alongside a key role at the YouGov, where she was responsible for the growth and revenue of their tech-led products.
