Governing human, machine and AI identities
One of the most urgent challenges for IAM and security teams is the growth of identities that do not belong to traditional employees.
Organisations now need to manage contractors, partners, customers, service accounts, applications, APIs, workloads, devices and automated processes. Many of these identities have powerful access but lack clearly defined ownership, lifecycle processes or regular reviews.
The increasing adoption of AI agents makes this challenge more significant. Agents may access data, interact with applications and complete tasks on behalf of users or departments.
