Drivetime named podcast partner for MOVE 2026 event

Mon, 8th Jun 2026 (Today)

Drivetime has been named the official podcast partner for MOVE 2026, giving the automotive technology podcast a presence at one of the mobility sector's largest trade events.

The team plans to record live episodes across both days of the exhibition at ExCeL London, with discussions featuring senior executives from motor retail, fleet, energy and technology. More than 250 speakers are expected to take part in the wider programme.

Hosted by Jacqui Barker, Drivetime is part of Keyloop's media and industry engagement activity. The podcast focuses on changes in automotive technology, data, and customer expectations, and on the commercial impact of these shifts across the sector.

Past guests have included leaders from Deloitte, Google, Renault and Polestar, reflecting the show's focus on voices from across the automotive and mobility market. Topics span fuel, finance, artificial intelligence, aftersales, eCommerce and electric vehicles.

Live recordings

The partnership gives Drivetime a formal role in MOVE 2026's content line-up through live on-site recordings. The sessions are intended to provide executives with a forum to discuss issues shaping modern mobility, including mobility-as-a-service, connected-vehicle technology, and broader developments in automotive technology.

MOVE has positioned itself as a major international exhibition for mobility businesses, bringing together companies and executives from the transport, automotive, energy, and technology sectors.

For Drivetime, the role extends the podcast's reach beyond on-demand audio and video into live event coverage. The show is already available on major podcast platforms and publishes full video episodes.

Sector focus

Keyloop describes the show as a way for people in the automotive industry to keep up with technologies reshaping the market. Its broader business serves the automotive retail sector and works with retailers, vehicle manufacturers, financiers and fleet suppliers.

That background helps explain the programme's mix of topics and guests. Conversations typically focus on how technology adoption affects day-to-day business decisions across the value chain, rather than on technical product detail alone.

Barker said the podcast was intended to help audiences make sense of a fast-changing market.

"The Drivetime Podcast is an ideal place for us to inform and guide our audience about technology and transformation in mobility, and what's coming next in an ever-evolving sector. We discuss everything from fuel to finance, AI to aftersales and eCommerce to EVs, and we look forward to speaking with a new group of industry experts at MOVE 2026," explained Barker.

The appointment also highlights how event organisers are using specialist media formats, such as podcasts, to broaden discussion of business and technology themes. Live recordings can give exhibitors and speakers another way to reach industry audiences, while giving podcasts access to executive interviews and topical debate in a concentrated setting.

In automotive and mobility, podcasts have become a common channel for discussing electrification, software, retail digitisation and changing consumer behaviour. Drivetime has sought to position itself within that trend by focusing on commercially grounded interviews with participants from manufacturers, retailers, technology groups and advisers.

As a result, those conversations will now form part of MOVE 2026's on-site content alongside the broader conference and exhibition programme, which is expected to feature more than 250 speakers.
