Ecommpay has been shortlisted in three categories at the Fin.Tech Marketing European Awards 2026, with nominations covering its marketing team, a launch campaign, and its use of AI and digital tools.

The payments company is a finalist for Best B2B Marketing Team, Best Integrated Marketing & Go-To-Market Launch Campaign, and Best Digital Marketing, AI & Innovation.

The awards programme recognises marketers, teams, and suppliers working across fintech, financial services, and technology in both B2B and B2C markets.

The shortlisted work followed a company repositioning and rebrand led by Ecommpay's marketing function in 2024, aimed at changing how the business was presented in the market.

According to Ecommpay, the rebrand was part of a broader effort to move beyond its previous positioning as a payment service provider. It described the team behind the project as a small B2B unit spanning brand, content, demand generation, and digital.

Three categories

The Best B2B Marketing Team nomination recognises the group behind the wider marketing strategy. The Best Integrated Marketing & Go-To-Market Launch Campaign category covers the relaunch, while Best Digital Marketing, AI & Innovation relates to the company's use of AI and digital systems in its marketing.

Ecommpay said the new brand positioning made its website more relevant and engaging for its target audience.

Miranda McLean, Chief Marketing Officer at Ecommpay, welcomed the recognition for the team's work.

"The Ecommpay B2B marketing team leads with purpose and performance, prioritising accessibility, diversity and ROI," said Miranda McLean, Chief Marketing Officer at Ecommpay.

"They don't just lead marketing initiatives; they co-create value with clients, partners and stakeholders and push boundaries through multi-channel execution. Since the launch of our new brand positioning, our website has become more relevant and engaging for our target audience. We are delighted that the team's achievements have been recognised in this way, with each of these three nominations being well deserved," McLean added.

Business background

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in London, Ecommpay operates a global payments platform for businesses that need acquiring, payment processing, and orchestration. It says it supports more than 100 payment methods through a single API.

Its wider product set includes open banking, recurring billing, and direct debit services. Ecommpay also holds UK regulatory authorisation to provide payment services.

The triple shortlisting recognises the company across team performance, campaign execution, and the growing role of AI in B2B marketing. The finalist list also highlights how fintech companies are using brand repositioning and digital channels to strengthen their standing in competitive payments markets.

The nominations also reflect the increasing importance of marketing in shaping how payments companies communicate their value to customers. For Ecommpay, the rebrand provided an opportunity to align its messaging more closely with its broader payments offering.

The marketing strategy was designed to support both brand awareness and commercial objectives. Its digital activity has also become an important channel for communicating with businesses across different markets.

The use of AI is becoming increasingly relevant as marketing teams look for ways to improve efficiency, personalisation and campaign performance. Ecommpay's nomination in the digital marketing category recognises this shift within its own marketing operations. The company will now compete against other shortlisted organisations across the three categories.

The winners will be announced as part of the Fin.Tech Marketing European Awards 2026 programme. The recognition gives Ecommpay's marketing team an opportunity to highlight the work undertaken since its repositioning. It also places the company's brand and digital strategy alongside other marketing initiatives across Europe's fintech and financial services sectors.
