Perion launches Ask Perion for self-serve ad planning
Mon, 22nd Jun 2026 (Today)
Perion has launched Ask Perion within its Perion One platform and mobile app, targeting marketers managing digital advertising campaigns across multiple channels.
Ask Perion is a self-serve interface built around two tools: an Insights Agent that answers campaign performance questions in plain language, and a Planning Agent that turns marketing briefs into structured cross-channel media plans.
Perion is positioning the launch as a response to the growing complexity of digital advertising, where marketers often work across separate dashboards, reporting systems and planning tools. Those fragmented workflows can slow decision-making and contribute to inefficient spending.
Ask Perion sits within Perion One, which brings together the group's advertising products across connected television, digital out-of-home, commerce and retail media, social and other digital channels. The mobile app extends the same functions to marketers working away from their desks.
Self-serve model
The launch is part of a broader push by Perion to shift more campaign planning and analysis into a self-serve model. That approach is intended to lower its cost to serve clients and improve internal efficiency, while also shortening campaign turnaround times.
The strategy also reflects a wider trend in advertising technology, where suppliers are using artificial intelligence tools to automate tasks previously handled through manual reporting, planning and account management processes.
Perion said the Insights Agent provides conclusions across areas including spending, delivery, pacing, creatives and channel performance. The Planning Agent is designed to produce client-ready plans based on a defined set of campaign goals.
The company described the two tools as the first phase of a wider self-serve execution model built on its existing infrastructure.
Tal Jacobson, Chief Executive Officer of Perion, linked the launch to the company's broader commercial plans.
"Ask Perion is another step we're taking to serve marketers worldwide and help them reach their goals with minimum effort," said Tal Jacobson, Chief Executive Officer of Perion.
"It marks a fundamental shift in how marketers interact with their campaigns, moving from navigating complex platforms to simply asking questions and generating instant plans. This launch represents a significant step forward in our ongoing journey toward a self-serve execution model. As we continue to evolve the Perion One ecosystem, this phased transition empowers our clients to drive ROI with unprecedented speed, while streamlining our operational workflows and laying the groundwork for highly scalable revenue. Ultimately, this move serves as a foundational building block in achieving the growth and efficiency targets outlined in our 2028 plan," Jacobson said.
Market pressure
The announcement highlights pressure on ad tech groups to show they can simplify campaign management as media buying spreads across more formats and platforms. Marketers are increasingly expected to monitor campaign performance in near real time while coordinating activity across a wider mix of channels.
In that environment, suppliers are competing to offer tools that reduce reliance on specialist teams and make campaign data easier for non-technical users to interpret. Perion's approach relies on a conversational interface that lets users ask direct questions rather than navigate multiple reporting layers.
The product also underlines the company's effort to tie together its business under the Perion One brand. By placing planning and campaign analysis inside the same interface, Perion is seeking to make its platform more central to day-to-day media operations.
For investors, the significance lies not only in the product itself but also in how management sees automation affecting costs and scalability. Perion explicitly tied the rollout to efficiency goals and revenue ambitions set out in its longer-term plan.
Ask Perion is now available within Perion One and the mobile app.
