NiCE names Jeff Comstock as President to drive CX innovation

Mon, 29th Sep 2025

NiCE has appointed Jeff Comstock as President, CX Product & Technology, effective from October 2025.

Comstock, who will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Scott Russell, is set to join NiCE's executive leadership team following a lengthy career at Microsoft. He most recently served at Microsoft as Corporate Vice President, where he led the Customer Experience (CX) applications business. His remit at Microsoft covered a broad range of services, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Contact Centre, and AI-based copilots and agents integrated within the business suite.

During his time overseeing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Experience business, Comstock played a key role in growing the division. The business reported double-digit year-over-year revenue growth in its most recently disclosed financial quarter, reflecting what the company described as strong momentum under his leadership.

Comstock brings over 25 years of experience in enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and customer experience, combining hands-on technical proficiency with a proven track record in global product management and engineering. His background includes leading teams to develop, scale, and launch products across major markets, and he has overseen the introduction of new services from design to adoption at scale.

Comstock's academic qualifications include an MBA, which he achieved with High Honours from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Systems from Western Washington University.

Leadership strategy

Scott Russell, Chief Executive Officer at NiCE, stated, "Jeff's appointment reinforces our commitment to driving innovation and product leadership at scale. His proven track record in building, scaling, and leading customer experience platforms-with deep expertise in AI-makes him uniquely positioned to accelerate our strategy and extend NiCE's leadership in CX. I am delighted to welcome him to the team."

The company described Comstock's appointment as further evidence of its continuing investment in leadership and its focus on an AI-first strategy in customer experience. This strategy aims to integrate greater automation, intelligence and proactivity into engagement platforms for customers.

Outlook at NiCE

Jeff Comstock said, "I am honoured to join NiCE at such an exciting time in the company's journey. NiCE has set the benchmark for CX innovation. I believe NiCE is best positioned in the industry to lead the transformation of CX with agentic AI. I look forward to working with this talented team to continue delivering transformative value for customers worldwide."

Comstock's experience at Microsoft, particularly within Dynamics 365 and its suite of AI-powered customer engagement tools, has been cited as a key factor in his selection for the new role. NiCE's leadership expects his appointment to support the next phase of the company's development and advance its approach to customer experience using artificial intelligence across its customer platforms globally.

With this executive change, NiCE is positioned to continue its focus on connecting people and systems through intelligent platforms, a strategic direction that has seen its services adopted by organisations in over 150 countries and across various industry sectors.
