XTU launches S7Pro action camera for creators & riders
Wed, 1st Jul 2026 (Today)
XTU has launched the S7Pro action camera, priced at USD $159.99 in the US and GBP £159.99 in the UK.
The new model sits at the top of XTU's action camera range and targets creators, riders and outdoor users. It combines a 1/2-inch Sony CMOS sensor with what XTU describes as a HiSilicon AI imaging pipeline.
The camera records 4K video at up to 50 frames per second and captures native 48MP photos. It also features a 152-degree seven-element ultra-wide lens, 1.6um pixel size and an F2.8 aperture.
Imaging Focus
As the action camera market expands beyond extreme sports into travel, vlogging and social media, manufacturers have increasingly focused on image quality and stabilisation. XTU is positioning the S7Pro around sharper video, low-light performance and smoother footage in a compact body.
The model uses Stabilization 5.0 alongside horizon stabilisation and 360-degree horizon correction. It also supports Gyroflow workflows, giving users another option for post-processing footage captured in fast-moving settings such as cycling, surfing and riding.
XTU has added features aimed at solo creators and mobile production, including support for wireless microphones with AI noise reduction, live streaming, voice control and automatic switching between landscape and portrait orientation.
A 2.29-inch touchscreen is included for framing, preview and playback. The camera also offers up to 50 seconds of 4K pre-recording, intended to help users capture moments that occur before the record button is pressed.
Connectivity and Mounting
Wireless transfer is handled through 5GHz Wi-Fi 6, designed to speed up previewing, moving and managing footage. The S7Pro also uses a magnetic quick-release mount system for switching between helmets, bikes, vehicles and tripods.
The camera has an 1800mAh battery and supports PD fast charging. It also includes an in-vehicle loop recording mode, extending its use beyond outdoor filming into everyday driving scenarios.
The launch adds to a product line that already includes video doorbells and trail cameras. XTU says the S7Pro is built for users seeking stable footage and more flexible shooting workflows without moving to a larger camera system.
At USD $159.99 and GBP £159.99, the S7Pro enters a competitive part of the action camera market, where pricing often helps define appeal as much as headline specifications. Its mix of high-resolution video, stabilisation, creator tools and wireless features suggests XTU is aiming at buyers who want a single device for travel clips, sports footage and social media production.
The published specification list includes 4K HDR video, native 48MP stills, voice control, live streaming support, automatic orientation switching and wireless microphone compatibility with AI noise reduction.
Also listed are horizon stabilisation, 360-degree horizon correction, Gyroflow support, a 2.29-inch touchscreen, up to 50 seconds of 4K pre-recording, a magnetic quick-release mount, an 1800mAh battery, PD fast charging and an in-vehicle loop recording mode.
