SkedGo unveils TripGo Mobility AI for smarter travel

Tue, 3rd Feb 2026

SkedGo has launched TripGo Mobility AI, a large language model-enabled travel planning product that provides real-time multimodal routing for public transport authorities and mobility providers.

The company said the product combines large language model reasoning with its routing engine and verified transport data. SkedGo positions the service for use in operational environments where journey guidance depends on up-to-date schedules, live network conditions, and accountable data sources.

Product focus

SkedGo said TripGo Mobility AI produces journey recommendations that reflect traveller preferences, weather conditions and accessibility requirements. The company said the system provides context-aware guidance based on verified routing and compliant API integrations.

"While general-purpose AI tools can discuss travel, they cannot reliably access the latest schedules or live network conditions. TripGo Mobility AI embraces the power of AI and takes journey planning to the next level by providing LLM-enabled trip planning grounded in trusted transport data and compliant API integrations," said John Nuutinen, CEO, SkedGo.

MCP support

SkedGo said TripGo Mobility AI supports Model Context Protocol, known as MCP. The company said MCP allows large language models such as ChatGPT and Claude to request a route plan and return suitable journey options in a single interaction.

SkedGo also said users can move between chat-based queries and an interactive journey-planning interface. The company said the interface offers a visual comparison of routes.

Accessibility claims

SkedGo said the product targets complex journey planning. It described a design that supports conversational queries in multiple languages and stores user preferences, including accessibility requirements.

"TripGo Mobility AI makes complex journey planning more accessible, intuitive and reliable. By combining the power of LLMs with trusted data and proven algorithms, users can converse in any language and ensure their journey preferences are learnt, essential for those with accessibility needs. It truly is a travel buddy in your pocket," said Nuutinen.

MaaS integration

SkedGo said TripGo Mobility AI integrates with Mobility-as-a-Service deployments. The company said the product supports customer service automation and improves how transport systems respond to disruption.

The company also said it can deploy the service across AI-based environments. It cited enterprise chatbots and ChatGPT apps as examples of where organisations could place the journey-planning function.

Market positioning

SkedGo said it designed the product for use across business-to-business and business-to-government mobility networks. The company contrasted its approach with general-purpose travel features. It described a focus on precision, accountability and operational use.

SkedGo operates from Australia and develops mobility software used by transport operators and digital mobility services. The company said its technology integrates with more than 4,000 transport service providers worldwide.

SkedGo said it expects TripGo Mobility AI to run within existing digital travel planning experiences and conversational interfaces used by transport authorities and mobility providers.
